What does a website cost?
the bare minimum
raqoon design can build you a very basic static website, consisting of up to 6 pages using one or two page layouts, for as little as $300. Truthfully, $300 doesn’t buy you very much, but at least you have a presence on the web. To keeps costs at a minimum, you will need to provide all images (although we will retouch, crop, resize, and optimize them), logos, copy, and a rough idea of what you want your site to look like, including site organization, colors, and fonts.
a little bit more
Static websites that have more pages, more varied page layouts, with images that require more manipulation, can cost anywhere between the $300 minimum to closer to $600, and of course the more you need, the more it costs.
lots and lots
Complex static websites are usually developed over time and are billed by the hour. We start by building a basic website for a set fee, depending on what’s involved, and then add to it as needed at the rate of $65 per hour. To give you a rough idea, updating the copy on a single page can be done in 10-15 minutes, assuming you provide the copy.
See our page about static websites for some examples.
awesome
If you have read our page about dynamic websites, you may be interested in trying a Drupal site. We can build a very basic Drupal site for $1200. That includes a limited amount of functionality (but more than a static site), a limited choice of theme, and enough training to get you started adding your own content.
